Career Fair Focus
The focus of Niagara College’s Career Fair is to connect job seekers with industry professionals who are recruiting directly for their businesses.
Third Party Recruiters & Fee for Service Agencies:
The following policies will apply to third-party recruiters, fee for service agencies and temporary agencies who wish to register for Niagara College’s Career Fair.
Third-party recruiters may attend the Fair under their own corporate identity only if they are recruiting for their own organization. No other client opportunities may be advertised or promoted at the Career Fair.
No agency who has fees associated with their employer/recruiter services, or as a condition of employment will be eligible to participate in the Career Fair.
Niagara College reserves the right to refuse participation in the Career Fair if an employer’s conduct fails to align with college values or the focus of the Career Fair.
If you have registered and we have declined your participation in the Career Fair we will provide a full refund on the credit card provided during registration. Refunds can take up to 7 business days to appear on the credit card account. An email regarding the cancelled order will be sent to the original email provided.
Refunds
- We will accept refund requests until Monday, January 9, 2023.
- Requests made before this date will be refunded in full (minus Eventbrite processing fees).
- Unfortunately, we will not be able to issue any refunds after Monday, January 9, 2023.
Severe Weather Cancellation Policy
In the case of severe weather (ice storm, snow day, extreme wind, etc.) and Niagara College closes, employers will be contacted by the event coordinators regarding next steps.
If any of our Career Fairs are cancelled due to severe weather, an e-mail will be sent out to registered employers before 7:00 a.m. the day of the fair. Please check the Niagara College website (www.niagaracollege.ca) for closure updates.
In purchasing your ticket for this event you accept both our refund and severe weather policy. We are unable to accommodate other requests beyond the options listed above.
